XFX Radeon RX 7900 XTX & 7900 XT MERC 310 GPUs Get Listed For $1099 & $979 US On Amazon, Then Disappear

Amazon has disclosed information previously under embargo on the newly released custom XFX Radeon 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT graphics cards, which are scheduled to be released later this week. As soon as Amazon staff became aware of the error, the two XFX Radeon RX listings were deleted from customers’ search results.

Nevertheless, we should be lucky that the Twitter hardware leaker @momomo us discovered the item and captured a screenshot before it disappeared, at least until the official embargo date.

There is a brief appearance of the XFX Radeon RX 7900 XTX and RX 7900 XT MERC 310 Custom Graphics Cards on Amazon for the prices of $1099 and $979 US.

We are just one day away from the public release of AMD’s brand-new Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards. Despite this, several companies that specialize in the production and selling of computer components are getting their inventory and online listings ready for when the sales ban is lifted.

Amazon is among these sellers; the XFX Speedster MERC 310 Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX Black Gaming edition was just recently published on the worldwide seller website by Amazon. The listing revealed both the price and the release date.

They were listed on Amazon for graphics cards manufactured by XFX named Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX. Amazon was the source for this image, which came from @momomo us on Twitter.

At one point, AMD was supposed to be the sole business to offer the new cards internationally on December 13, 2022. The partners would showcase their goods and sell them a week to two weeks later.

We know that the announced date for the XFX AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX and XT graphics cards will be on the same day as AMD because Amazon’s missing listings indicate this to be the case. In addition, the prices of the two XFX custom AMD GPUs have been revealed to us as well. The XFX Speedster MERC310 AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT will be available for $979.99, while the XTX model will be available for purchase for $1,099.99.

The XFX custom AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT and XTX graphics card appear to sell for more than the manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) revealed by AMD during the AMD showcase held one month ago.

The XT and RT versions of AMD’s flagship graphics card, the Radeon XT, will be available for purchase starting at $899.99 and $999.99, respectively (XTX version). According to the displayed ads, which have since been removed, XFX will offer the XT model at a price that is $80 higher than the suggested retail price, while the XTX variation will sell for a price that is $100 higher than AMD.

It would appear that AMD and its partners are selling the new Radeon 7000 series at a price that is lower than the price of NVIDIA’s most recent release, the RTX 4080, by an amount that is close to $400.
