Disney Dreamlight Valley has received substantial alterations since its first release in September. It didn’t take long for fans of the game to disassemble it, gather all the goods, complete all the character missions, and design their valley to their hearts’ desire.

Of course, there have always been a few things lacking from the game’s personalization tools, and it appears that Gameloft will finally include one of them: home skins.

The programmers will be adding home skins to the game, as mentioned in a post on the official Disney Dreamlight Valley Twitter page, so you can finally customize how the outside of your house appears. This is undoubtedly welcome news for anyone sick of staring at the bright yellow paint that comes standard with every new Disney Dreamlight Valley saves.

The brief video accompanying the post showed off some new home colors, including pink, blue, purple, green, and orange. There are a lot of hues to pick from. They did not indicate whether you will be able to modify the door’s color or if it will come standard with whatever paint job you select.

Because the tweet indicated the beginning of the year, this minor update will likely arrive in January, shortly after the new year begins. Given the developer’s track record with upgrades, this one shouldn’t take long to emerge in the game.

This update is one of the incentives for the community challenge. Other potential improvements from this list include new character skins, extra animal companions, and adding multiplayer valley trips.
