TAA is added to Dark Souls III’s new mod, which improves shimmering issues.

Despite not being one of the best-looking games ever released, Dark Souls III looks fantastic because of From Software’s excellent environment design. Unfortunately, the game includes aliasing and shimmering difficulties, which a recent mod finally rectifies on PC.

The new TAA (Temporal Antialiasing) update, available from Nexus Mods, leverages ReShade to fix aliasing and shimmering problems, resulting in significantly improved graphics.

To activate it, you must enable in-game antialiasing and disable motion blur. However, while the mod has been tuned for 1080p resolution, it may affect performance at higher resolutions.

Dark Souls III is the third and final installment in the From Software series. Despite broadening the series’ concept with an open-world environment, Elden Ring is still a superb action role-playing game that no genre lover should overlook, as we noted in our review.

My trek across Lothric to meet with the Lords of Cinder brought me breathtaking scenery. It resulted in many restless nights where all I could think about was pushing into another hallway, looking for another blaze.

It’s an experience that existing Souls fans already know they can’t miss, while those interested in Dark Souls and anxious to find out what all the fuss is about will find this an excellent starting point. It may not be everyone’s favorite Souls game, but it is mine, and I am confident that Dark Souls III will top much Game of the Year lists in 2016.
