Later this week, fans will get another opportunity to try out Company of Heroes 3’s multiplayer mode, courtesy of Sega and Relic Entertainment, a company located in Vancouver. Company of Heroes 3 will be released in just a few short weeks. This Wednesday, the multiplayer tech test for Company of Heroes 3 will go live on Steam. To register for the trial, simply follow these steps:

  • Navigate to the Steam store page for CoH3 here
  • Underneath ‘Pre-Purchase,’ you’ll find ‘Join the Company of Heroes 3 Playtest’
  • Click “Request Access”
  • That’s it!

If you sign up for the exam before it is made available to the public on January 11, you will be alerted as soon as it is available for download. If you sign up after the test has already begun, you should be requested to download it as soon as possible.

It is still unknown what exactly was included in the tech test for Company of Heroes; however, Relic has promised to provide further information not long before the game’s premiere. So, do you need additional information? The official synopsis of the game is as follows…

“Welcome to the Mediterranean, a stunning new theater packed with untold tales of conflict,” said the narrator. Fight your way against powerful enemy troops as you traverse Italy’s mountain passes, North Africa’s expansive deserts, and Italy’s jaw-dropping coastline landscapes. Awe-inspiring pictures transport you to real-feeling, richly varied settings that are purposefully meant to keep you on your toes.

Players have complete control over the pace of the action in single-player mode thanks to the Full Tactical Pause function. After carefully planning your assaults, you can quickly queue up devastating precision moves that will give you an advantage in the fight. Experience the most extensive single-player campaign in the history of the franchise. Players can take charge of the whole war effort and experience an unprecedented amount of strategic choice thanks to the new Dynamic Campaign Map, which features complete gameplay in a sandbox-like environment.

On February 23, Company of Heroes will become available on personal computers. Later on, in 2023, it is anticipated that the Xbox Series X/S and PS5 versions will be released.
