According to a brand-new report released today, Uncharted is getting a reboot, and a studio other than Naughty Dog will be in charge of creating the next installment in the series.

Two independent sources confirmed that the Naughty Dog-created series is getting a reboot, and an unidentified studio will be in charge of the development, as reported on Theleak.co.

Since Naughty Dog will initially help the new studio, the series creator will still be somewhat involved in creating the latest installment. We probably won’t hear much more about the game for a while because it’s still in its early phases of development.

With that in mind, it makes sense that rumors about a new Uncharted game are starting to surface. Two different reports claim that Sony chose to restart the series early this year before giving it to an unidentified developer. Naughty Dog is anticipated to help the new squad at first, though.

Tom Henderson, a dependable insider, said on Insider Gaming that he had heard rumblings about the Uncharted series in the past but was unable to confirm today’s report. Theleak.co doesn’t have a good track record regarding gaming leaks, but there may be some truth behind the rebooting of the Uncharted series. As a result, we must proceed with caution until we have formal confirmation.

The most recent games in the series are Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy, both of which are accessible on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC.

According to Alessio in his article, the PC version is unquestionably the finest way to experience Naughty Dog’s great action-adventure games:

Given that the PS5 version offers users the option of selecting between 4K@30FPS, 1440P@60FPS, or 1080p@120FPS, it is clear that the PC version of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection is the best one.

Ray tracing would have been a fantastic feature, but it was definitely outside the scope of this port project, even if there is adequate performance headroom for it.

Speaking about the graphics, both games can still look fantastic years after their initial release.

That’s large because of Naughty Dog’s incredible artistic talent, which is brilliantly on display during interior scenes and conversations with cutting-edge facial animations and lip sync.

However, compared to more recent titles, exteriors occasionally exhibit some signs of their actual age.
