Rogue Trader Alpha to Launch Next Week: Warhammer 40,000

The creator of Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, Owlcat Games, revealed today that the alpha test will begin the following week.

Those who show their support for the creators of the new role-playing game by purchasing either the Developer’s Digital Pack or the Collector’s Edition on or after December 7 will be granted access to the game’s alpha phase and given a sneak peek at what’s to come.

Your massive voidship will take you across tremendous lengths as you navigate the Koronus Expanse, a region of space that is poorly documented and fraught with incredible danger. Along the way, you will visit a variety of star systems. Even though this part of the Imperium is believed to be a backwater, it contains a vast portion of the void rich with untold possibilities for making money and expanding one’s horizons.

Your judgments matter, Lord-Captain.

Every decision and every act of the Rogue Trader sends ripples throughout the entire sector, changing the in-game world and the people who inhabit it. Show your subjects mercy or disdain, remain faithful to the God-Emperor, or consort with enemies of Mankind.

Collect the rest of your team.

Rogue Traders never go alone. Collect your entourage, which may consist of warped psykers, holy warriors, and perfidious Xenos.
