Release Date for Starfield through The Game’s Official Support Page: Reconfirmed
A newly established support website for Bethesda’s upcoming sci-fi action RPG, Starfield, has provided more evidence that the game’s release window will remain the same.
In May of the previous year, Bethesda announced that the release dates of Starfield and Arkane’s Redfall would be pushed back to the first half of 2023. According to the publisher, the release date has been pushed back to make room for more polishing and to ensure that gamers receive the most excellent versions of these games.
“We’ve decided to delay the launches of Redfall and Starfield to the first half of 2023”,
“The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them.”
Matt Booty, a representative for Microsoft, stated a few months ago that Starfield will be released after Redfall, although the actual release dates for both games have not yet been disclosed. It is interesting to note that recent reports suggest that Bethesda and Microsoft are aiming to release Redfall in the first week of May. If these rumors are true, this might hint that Starfield will be released in June.
The official support website for Starfield has now reaffirmed the release window that Bethesda established in May of the previous year. This comes as we continue to wait for a release date confirmation.
“Starfield arrives exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and PC in the first half of 2023”,
The support page for Starfield reads.
If the new Redfall release rumor turns out to be genuine, and if Microsoft is still aiming to release that title first, it appears like a release for Starfield in June of 2023 is a strong possibility. As is our custom, we will keep you up to speed on this subject. As for right now, remain tuned.
In almost twenty-five years, Starfield will be Bethesda’s first new intellectual property (IP), and the announcement was made at the company’s press conference at E3 2018.
