Redfall’s internal delay is said to push the game to the second quarter of 2023.

Want to play Redfall, the new co-op vampire game from Arkane Studios? If the most recent rumors are true, the game’s planned release date has been pushed back a little bit.

Microsoft and Arkane haven’t announced a release date for Redfall yet, but recent rumors said they were hoping for March. Okami, the source of the March rumors, says that the game has been moved internally to early May.

Not a huge delay, but Xbox fans are getting antsy for new content because Microsoft’s 2022 release schedule is mostly empty. Still, people have high hopes for Redfall, so it’s OK if Arkane needs more time to polish it up. As always, with rumors, you should take all of this with a grain of salt until we hear something official.

“The island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, is under siege by a legion of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut the citizens off from the outside world. Explore the open world and immerse yourself in a deep story campaign as you unravel the mystery behind the vampires’ appearance. Ally with a handful of survivors against the creatures threatening to bleed the town dry.”

Redfall has both single-player and multiplayer options that work well together. You can go into the darkness alone or with up to three other people. Teammates can try out different hero loadouts and use their strengths to devise creative ways to deal with the vampire apocalypse.

You will build up a collection of specialized weapons and customize your character with unique upgrades and skills to fit your play style, whether you like to fight with guns blazing or sneak around.

Choose your squad – Redfall’s vampires, made by science experiments gone wrong and have psychic powers, will force you and your team to think outside the box. To defeat the vampire legion and their gang of crazy followers, you will choose a couple of different heroes, each with unique skills.

Redfall will soon be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S. Microsoft has only said that the game will come out in the first half of 2023.
