The term “pseudo-legendary” was coined by Pokémon fans to refer to an evolution chain consisting of three stages and having a base stat of 600. The Pokémon that are part of a generation’s Pseudo-Legendary line are often among the most popular in that generation’s games. This occurs with each new generation of Pokémon games.

The fans now know that the new line based on Scarlet and Violet will be focused on ice dragons and dinosaurs because the new pseudo for Scarlet and Violet has finally leaked. We strongly advise averting your gaze at this point if you do not desire to be spoilt anymore.

At first look, the first stage of the pseudo takes the form of a little lizard with a huge mouth. This stage does not appear to be anything particularly remarkable. The intermediate stage of development is known as Arctibax and resembles dinosaurs more than the stage that came before it. The dinosaur known as Arctibax has a sail on its back, similar to those carried by other members of the family Spinosauridae, such as Spinosaurus.

In the last stage of development, known as Arbolovia, the influences of Spinosaurus are able to be seen more clearly. Arbolovia has a big sail on its back, a silvery face, gray scales, and red claws, and on top of its neck, it perhaps has feathers because it looks like a dinosaur. The look of Arbolovia resembles a cross between a Spinosauridae and an ice dragon.

The entire family is of the dragon and ice type, which is a rare combination of types that is only found in Legendary Pokémon. Arbolovia, much like all other faux legendaries, will have a basic stat score of 600 points, which is the maximum possible score for a non-legendary Pokémon. The strong basic stats give pseudos an advantage over other Pokémon and are also one of the primary reasons why they are often among the most popular Pokémon in each new generation.

Other Pokémon that have been discovered include the pre-evolved form of Armarouge and Ceruledge, which is known as Charcadet; the incredible evolution of Dunsparce, which is known as Dudunsparce; the new flamingo Pokémon, which is known as Flamigo; the adorable dark-type dog Pokémon known as Maschiff; a pair of mice Pokémon known as Tandemaus; and the three starter evolutions, known as Sprigatito, Fuecoco, The Pokémon Company, and Nintendo have not made any official pronouncements about any of the photographs that have been released, so you should take everything with a grain of salt.
