The original series is now much more accessible on contemporary hardware thanks to Mega Man’s multiple Legacy Collections, such as the Mega Man X Legacy Collection. Mega Man Battle Network was said to be getting its Legacy Collection earlier this year, bringing the Game Boy Advance games to modern technology.
The Collection’s online capabilities were officially announced a few months ago, bringing trading and combat to websites like PlayStation Network. But just today, some more details about the next collection were made public, which we’ll go through now.
Second, both compilation portions are available for pre-order. On April 14, you may purchase them for $59.99 or buy each component alone for $39.99. The following special features are included with pre-ordering the collection:
Every collection’s menu will have customizable PET (Hub Style for Legacy Collection and Dark MegaMan for Legacy Collection 2)
There are four new unique interpretations of series music in the Gallery.
A Note from the Developer is also included: Volumes 1 and 2 cannot be bought individually.
Thirdly, fifteen limited-time promotional Battle Chips from high-end events in Japan may be found and traded in-game. The first two seasons of the Mega Man NT Warrior anime series will also be uploaded to YouTube in early 2023 and streamed on Twitch by Capcom.
As a last minor point, the online aspects of both Collections will also contain passwords for Private Battles, enabling you to compete against your friends in unranked battles.
As additional details about the Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection 1 and 2 become available, we’ll keep you informed. For April 14th, 2023, Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection 1 and 2 will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC through Steam.
