It has been some time since we last heard or saw anything about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the next chapter in the series being developed by Insomniac Games, but it appears as though something related to it may be coming in the next few days. Insomniac Games is responsible for developing the franchise.
This morning, the PlayStation Store page for the game was made available to the European public. The website has not gone up by accident, as the Community Director for Insomniac Games invited fans on Twitter to add the game to their wishlists and express their excitement. Unfortunately, the page does not reveal anything new about the game. [Status update: the website has been taken down.]

The launch of the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PlayStation Store isn’t the only recent event that raises the possibility that a new announcement or reveal will be made shortly. Toward the end of the previous month, Venom’s actor Tony Todd hinted that something would be made public shortly.
It would not be strange for Insomniac Games to take advantage of the enthusiasm around the upcoming movie Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse to drop some news about their highly anticipated game. A new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is scheduled to be released tomorrow.
The second installment of Marvel’s Spider-Man is presently being designed on the PlayStation 5 platform, and its release date in 2023 is still to be determined. Stay tuned for all the most recent information, as we will keep you informed on the game as soon as we receive any fresh news on it.
