Overwatch 2 preps for its second season with Ramattra gameplay, an electrifying Junker Queen skin, and multiple balance changes
The second season of Overwatch 2 is rapidly approaching. This season’s arrival ushers in a new character, Rammatra, a tank, as well as numerous much-anticipated balance adjustments that players have been anticipating for the past few weeks.
Another new season passes introduced in season two grants Junker Queen thunderous skin and the strength of the Olympian gods.
If you buy the premium battle pass, Ramattra will be available on the first day. If you choose the free edition, Ramattra won’t become available until you have leveled up to 55 on the track, which requires completing the daily and weekly missions to accumulate enough experience to get there.
Ramattra is designed to be a tank that transforms into whatever it is that you require at the time. Along with the new Shambali Monastery Escort map, Ramattra is made available.
Sojourn will be addressed as one of the key balancing improvements in season two from the Blizzard team. The high skill ceiling of Sojourn’s Rail Gun, which many players have sought to master, makes it challenging for players to face her, and those who have done so become significant impediments in combat.
To fix this, the design team will examine the Rail Gun’s ranged lethality and modify her so that players concentrate on her general mobility to reduce the gap between opponents rather than staying at a distance.
Sojourn is the main focus, but there will also be improvements to the gameplay for other characters including Doomfish, Bastion, Ana, Junker Queen, Kiriko, Mercy, and Symmetra.
The focus of season two will be a combat pass with a Greek mythology theme, as seen in the preview trailer.
The electrifying skin for Junker Queen will be the ultimate prize for the Premium Battle Pass. Other characters will also receive skins with related themes, such as Ramattra’s Poseidon skin and Pharah’s Hades skin.
Overwatch 2 will bring back the Winter Wonderland and Lunar New Year events at the end of 2022. These events are anticipated to release soon after the start of season two.
The second season of Overwatch 2 premieres on December 6. You will need to buy a new season pass in order to use this. The new character, Ramattra, will be available right away to those who buy the premium season pass.
