Maintenance Schedule for Overwatch 2: Approximately How Long Will the Servers Be Down?

It has been revealed by Blizzard that the Overwatch 2 servers will be taken offline for maintenance today, which takes place on October 6th, 2022. During the maintenance of Overwatch 2, an attempt will be made to solve many problems, an attempt will be made to address the absurdly lengthy queue times, and several user experiences will be updated. The following times will result in the Overwatch 2 servers being unavailable due to maintenance.

When is the Overwatch 2 server going to be taken offline?

Maintenance will be performed on the Overwatch 2 servers today, October 6, 2022, at three o’clock pm and six o’clock pm Pacific Time. The servers will be out for approximately one hour beginning at 3:00 pm Pacific Time (PT), and they will remain offline for approximately three hours beginning at 6:00 pm PT.

It is hoped that the vast majority of the faults and flaws that have rendered Overwatch 2 unplayable for certain users will be repaired after these two maintenance periods have concluded. After this maintenance, it is hoped that you will not be required to transfer regions in order to bypass the Overwatch 2 queue.
