Some Pokémon enthusiasts have supposedly succeeded in obtaining the form for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and they are disseminating information about the games as soon as they can upload screenshots. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet aren’t even released yet, but their release isn’t far off. One of the leaks that came from these community members is that Greavard will be receiving an evolution that it has rightfully earned in the forthcoming game and that it may have a bone to pick with a few of your Pokémon.

Houndstone’s development, Greavard’s progression

Houndstone is the name of the new Pokémon that may evolve from Greavard. It is a ghost-type Pokémon that appears to be formed completely of bone and has a little tombstone perched on top of its head. This undead canine will perform best in your team when separated from other Houndstones since Ghost-type Pokémon have two major weaknesses: Dark and other Ghost types.

The information that was stolen does not provide much information beyond the fact that it is a Greavard development. It is presently unknown how the evolution takes place, whether or not it can be discovered in the wild, or even what its baseline numbers are; this will not change until Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are officially released. Users are able to deduce certain characteristics of the item based on its category, such as the default move set; nevertheless, it is impossible to draw definitive facts at this point in time.

It’s important to keep in mind that, just like with any other alleged leaks or rumors, the veracity of these photographs and words shouldn’t be taken as a given by any means. Even while many of them appear to be authentic, there are some Pokémon fanatics who take pleasure in teasing or deceiving other fans, especially now that the release date is so close.

Any and all leaks should be taken with a grain of salt until either Nintendo or The Pokémon Company issues an official statement authenticating the leaks, or until the title itself is released and players are given the opportunity to check the data for themselves.

The Pokémon games Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch on November 18.
