You can’t go wrong with Bonelab if you’re trying to get your hands on one of the most interesting virtual reality (VR) experiences currently available. Even though it is not a free-to-play game, there is more than enough material included for users to willingly shell out the game’s full price of $39.99 to access.
On the other hand, if you happen to have more than one VR headset or if you want to carry this game with you wherever you go, you might need to double-dip it in order to make it work.
The initial version of Bone works was a virtual reality game that could only be played on a personal computer, however, the game’s sequel is now available not just for personal computers but also for Meta Quest 2. Do you have to pay for it again, or are you allowed to have your license with you when you go out on the road? Let’s investigate whether or not there is a Cross-Buy option available for Bonelab on both PC and Quest 2!
Is Cross-Buy Available Through Bonelab?
Bonelab belongs to the superior category of the two options, despite the fact that there are quite a few Virtual Reality games that do not provide any kind of Cross-Buy compatibility. If you want to make use of this feature, you will, however, need to purchase the game through the Meta Quest Store in order for it to be unlocked on your own computer through the Rift Store at no additional cost.
You should be able to unlock it across these two platforms if you get in touch with the makers of the game. Some users have reported that they are unable to see the PC version showing up as purchased in the Rift Store. If you buy it through Steam, however, it appears that you will be unable to play it on any other platform except Steam itself.
If you want to take advantage of this one-of-a-kind offer, you’ll need to make sure that you buy the game via either the Meta Quest Store or the Rift Store rather than buying it directly from Steam. Only then will you be eligible for the discount.
If you make the purchase in this manner, you will have the option to play the game through your personal computer or when you are away from home. It is unknown if this feature will ever become accessible in the future.
Now that you are ready to play regardless of where you are, make sure that you visit our Bonelab Guide Section as soon as possible. There, you will be able to learn how to import your own custom character, where you will need to go in order to unlock the main story, and how you can use the key that Jimmy Wong gave you in Level 12 of the campaign!
The PC version of Bonelab is now available, as is the Meta Quest version.
