New Footage of Sons of the Forest Is Released Before the February Launch

IGN has released new gameplay footage for Endnight’s Sons of the Forest that clocks in at over eight and a half minutes long. Endnight Games followed up the independent, successful survival horror game The Forest with an open-world survival horror game.

The release of Sons of the Forest has been much anticipated. The first postponement was from 2021 to May 2022, the second was from May to October 2022, and the third was from October 2022 to February 2023. All of these postponements were officially recognized. However, we will not be able to change this release date.

There is currently no information on the cost of Sons of the Forest; however, you can add the game to your wishlist on Steam.

You were dispatched to an isolated island in search of a missing millionaire, but instead, you found yourself amid a cannibal hellscape. Craft, construct, and fight for your existence in the scary new open-world survival horror simulator Sons of the Forest, either by yourself or with your pals.

A Survival Horror Simulator

Feel unrestricted liberty to face the challenges of the outside world in whatever way you want. However, it is up to you to determine what you should do, where you should go, and how to survive. No non-playable characters will yell instructions at you or assign assignments you do not wish to do. You are in charge and decide what steps should be taken next.

Combat the Demons

Step into a world where there is no place to hide and prepare to battle with a wide variety of mutant creatures, some of which are virtually identical to humans and others of which are unlike anything you have ever seen. Protect yourself and those you care about by arming yourself with various weapons, including pistols, axes, stun batons, etc.

Construct and create.

In Sons of the Forest, you’ll experience every contact. To start a fire, break up some sticks. Make use of an axe to remove the flooring and windows. You can construct a little cottage or a sprawling complex by the water.

Changing Seasons

During the spring and summer months, you may harvest fresh salmon by hand directly from streams. Then, gather and put up meat in preparation for the chilly winter months. Because you are not alone on this island, when winter arrives and food and resources become short, you will not be the only one hunting for anything to eat as the island enters its dormant season.

Playing the Game With Other People (or “Co-op”)

Sons of the Forest allows players to play solo or with pals. Collaborate with other players to construct defenses and share goods you find. When exploring above and below the earth, bring along some backup.
