The new open-world Superman Unreal Engine 5 concept film just published looks impressive.
After Epic Games made the Unreal Technology 5 available to the general public earlier this year, the company published several gameplay concept films using the new engine. The flying game demo based on Epic’s The Matrix Awakens: An Unreal Engine 5 Experience was one example of this type of film.
Fans of DC Comics have been waiting for years for a new genuine Superman title, and although there have been whispers that Warner Bros. and Rocksteady may be working on such a game, there hasn’t been any official announcement made in any form.
So, how exactly would a Superman game that correctly used an open world work on today’s hardware? This concept film by the artist and YouTuber TeaserPlay may offer you an impression.
High-end aesthetics, including Lumen, Nanite, and Ray Tracing, are included in this vision of Unreal Engine 5. In addition, the concept film demonstrates Superman’s ability to travel across space, which enables him to depart Earth whenever he pleases.
This concept is very amazing and demonstrates the possibilities of a new Superman title that is powered by a different gaming engine. This is just a concept film made by a fan, as with many of these videos speculating what UE5 may be like. Have a look at the video that’s been provided below, and decide for yourself:
According to a story from the year 2020, Rocksteady is supposed to have presented a Superman video game to Warner Bros., but the publisher said the idea was rejected. Rocksteady is now hard at work developing Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. This action-adventure video game will include four playable characters: King Shark, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, and Captain Boomerang.
On May 26, 2023, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the PC platform through Steam.
Players take on the roles of Harley Quinn (a.k.a. Dr. Harleen Quinzel), Deadshot (a.k.a. Floyd Lawton), Captain Boomerang (a.k.a. Digger Harkness), and King Shark (a.k.a. Nanaue) in this original, genre-defying, action-adventure, third-person shooter called Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Their objective is to work together to bring down the Justice League
