The GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards from NVIDIA are now available in China for more than $1,000.
NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Is Listed In China With Custom Graphics Cards Costing Over $1000 US
Although the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card from NVIDIA won’t be available until the first week of January, we have already seen it listed by retailers. Additionally, an early performance leak gives us an idea of where the graphics card will fit in creative applications.
The revised pricing in China may represent what bespoke versions would cost in the Asian area, whereas the prior listing was nothing near the MSRP.
A user has uploaded images of the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 3X and the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio over at Baidu. The lister claims that the Ventus 3X and Gaming X Trio iterations of these cards have been priced at 7199 RMB and 7599 RMB, respectively.
- RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 3X from MSI costs 7199 RMB ($1034 US).
- RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X from MSI costs 7599 RMB ($1092 US).
The Ventus 3X amounts to about $1034 US when converted to USD, while the Gaming X Trio comes to about $1092 US. These are far more expensive than the MSRP, but given the additional taxes in Asian areas, this is undoubtedly where one should expect to pay for bespoke graphics cards.
Specifications for the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti 12 GB model.
The “Ada Lovelace” AD104-400 GPU configuration, the full-fat SKU with 7,680 cores or 60 SMs enabled, will be used by the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti. We are obtaining up to 12 GB of GDDR6X capacity since the GPU will have a 192-bit bus interface and 48 MB of L2 cache.
According to reports, the memory operates at 21 Gbps speeds, providing 504 GB/s of memory bandwidth. The card’s alleged boost clock is 2610 MHz, although the peak frequency will be greater.
- “Official” 12 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti TBP: 285W
- 8 GB “Official” NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti TBP – 290W
The TBP’s power rating has been changed to 285W, a 35W reduction from the RTX 3080 10 GB variant, and a 5w decrease from the RTX 3070 Ti. The new graphics card is anticipated to perform better than the RTX 3080; due to the 4080 16 GB’s reduced specifications, there will be a significant performance difference between the two variants of roughly 30–40%.
