In the Genshin Impact community, Yaoyao is regarded as a mystery woman. She was first hinted at long ago, before the Dendro component was included in Version 3.0.

In the past, Yaoyao had been hinted at during one of the game’s Lantern Rite festivals. Since then, additional information has been gradually leaking out about the character, including a leak that suggested Yaoyao might become available in Version 3.4.

Now, HoYoverse has officially stated that Yaoyao will release the next version through their monthly “drip marketing” campaign. This campaign teases the following characters arriving at the game in Version 3.4.

Alhaitham, another figure from the Dendro universe with a touch of antiheroism, has joined Yaoyao and will assist us during the Archon Quest. He is very attractive.

Alhaitham will be the new 5-star in Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact, and this dominant force will drive all of my cash out of my wallet. Alhaitham will be the new 5-star in Version 3.4 of Genshin Impact. The leaks suggest that Yaoyao will be a 4-star character, so it is probable that Alhaitham and Yaoyao will be paired together in a future Character Event Wish banner.

Yesterday evening, during The 2022 Game Awards, an official tease for Yaoyao was given. At the end of a new gameplay clip, Yaoyao was shown moving about. Because this was the first time we’ve seen Yaoyao in any type of official position outside of promo graphics, it made for an exciting occasion for fans who were waiting on Yaoyao news at the time.

Fans think Yaoyao may be given away for free like Yunjin was last year if she were to be released in Version 3.4, which would place her in the perfect position to participate in the Lantern Rite event.

At the moment, Genshin Impact is celebrating the arrival of Version 3.3, which introduced two new playable characters—the sinister Scaramouche and the ethereal Faruzan—into the game. Additionally, with the introduction of this edition, the game’s brand-new trading card game became available. This minigame mode provides players with the opportunity to win a variety of collector cards and other prizes simply for taking part.
